REACH - Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals

On June 1, 2007, regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006 (REACH) has entered into force. Until December 1^st 2010 all materials currently on the market (>1000 tons/year) have to be registered.

Symalit is a downstream user and only manufactures products which - if used properly - do not emit any relevant substances. Registration is therefore not required.

Nevertheless, Symalit implements the REACH regulation, also in keeping the interests of the customers in mind. Thus, we ask of our suppliers to register products, including their uses, which fall under the REACH regulation or to pass this requirement on to ther sub-suppliers. This supplier requirement is included in the relevant Symalit documentation.
